What to do if the computer cannot start properly (no picture appears on the computer screen after pressing the power switch)?
The computer cannot start properly (no picture is displayed on the computer screen after pressing the power switch).
The Sony logo (or VAIO logo) is not showing up on the the computer screen after plugging the computer into a electric socket and pressing the power switch.
When Operating System is running, the computer fails to restart successfully because the power is forced to cut off due to some issues such as a system hang.
Check if the power indicator of the VAIO is on or off.

Check the color of VAIO power indicator.

It is possible that the computer may be in Power Saving Mode.
If the power indicator is Orange, it means the computer is in Standby or Power Saving Mode.
Confirm whether restoration can be done from power saving mode by pressing any key or removing the mouse.
