Why does Windows® XP restart when a VAIO camera is used under multiple USB devices configuration?
The VAIO computer with Windows® XP Service Pack [SP1] sometimes restarts when multiple USB devices and a VAIO camera are simultaneously connected.
As the VAIO USB camera is designed to always reserve a certain data transfer range for high-quality images, this sysmptom may appear when other USB devices are contending with the camera for resource at the same time. Therefore, do not use other connected USB devices when using the camera.
