1. What is "Samba TV"?

   “Samba TV” is a service name of a third-party company, Samba TV, Inc. (not Sony). Sony Corporation and Samba TV, Inc. have collaborated to offer interactive TV features and services with certain Sony BRAVIA televisions. Samba TV offers following applications:

   • Samba TV Mobile: An application available on Android or iOS device.
   • Samba Interactive TV: An application included with the firmware of certain BRAVIA televisions.

To enable these applications, you must choose to opt into and agree to Samba TV’s terms of service and acknowledge notice of the company’s privacy policy. Further details, including Samba TV’s privacy policy and terms of service, are available at https://samba.tv/ or via email at support@samba.tv.

3. What is Samba TV Mobile by Samba TV?

   Samba TV Mobile by Samba TV is a mobile app available on Android and iOS provided by Samba TV.  If you download and install Samba TV Mobile to your mobile device and agree to the applicable terms of service and acknowledge notice of Samba TV’s privacy policy, you may receive (A) notifications of what is trending on television (B) viewing recommendations based on your preferences and content viewership history (if you choose to pair your mobile device to a TV that has enabled Samba Interactive TV) and (C) details of your favorite TV programs (such as actors, stories, etc. of each program). The Samba TV Mobile app will also allow you to launch recommended content available on apps (such as Netflix or Amazon Video) on your mobile device, and provide further enhanced features if you choose to pair the app with your Samba-enabled television. 4. How can I pair my Mobile Device to my Samba-enabled TV?
   Samba TV provides you two alternative ways to connect your mobile device to your Samba-enabled television.  Both require that you first opt-in to Samba Interactive TV on your TV and Samba TV Mobile on your mobile device.
   • If your Samba TV mobile device and Samba-enabled TV are on the same network: Once downloaded on your mobile device, Samba TV Mobile will identify any Samba-enabled televisions that are sharing the same network, such as same LAN (Local Area Network) or wired or wireless network. Samba TV Mobile then will allow you to pair your mobile device and TV’s that are on the same network.
   • If your Samba TV mobile device and Samba-enabled TV are not on the same network: If your mobile device and Samba-enabled TV are not the same network, in order to perform pairing, please go to your TV screen “System Preferences”. Proceed to Samba Interactive TV, and find a four-letter code. Then input the code into Samba TV Mobile screen of your mobile device. 5. How can I disable or re-enable the Samba TV feature?
   You can find the option in the Samba Interactive TV submenu under the System Preference settings menu.

6. How can I disable the Samba TV pop-up notification?

   1. On the pop-up, dialogue box, select Set up now.
   2. On the Enable Interactive TV information page, select Next.
   3. On the Privacy Policy page, select Disagree and Disable option to disable Samba TV.
   4. Select Yes to confirm.
