How to perform a wireless network setup
Below you can find the 4 different options you have to set up your TV with the Wireless network:
Option 1: Using WPS button
The WPS standard makes the setup of a secure wireless home network as simple as pressing the WPS button on the wireless Internet router. Before setting up a wireless network, check for the availability and location of the WPS button on your router and verify how to use it.
To connect to a wireless network using WPS, your wireless Internet router needs to support the WPS standard.
- Using the supplied remote control, press the HOME button
- Select Settings
- Select Network Setup
- Select Wireless Setup
- Select WPS (Push Button)
- Follow the instructions that appear on the setup screen
Option 2: Using the WPS button and a PIN code
To connect to a wireless network with WPS, your wireless Internet router needs to support the WPS standard.
- Using the supplied remote control, press the HOME button
- Select Settings
- Select Network Setup
- Select Wireless Setup
- Select WPS (PIN) for PIN method
- Follow the instructions that appear on the setup screen
Option 3: Using the standard wireless network name (SSID) and security key
To connect to a wireless network, the SSID (wireless network name) and security key (WEP or WPA key) will be required. If you do not know them, consult the instruction manual of your router or contact you Internet Service Provider (ISP).
- Using the supplied remote control, press the HOME button
- Select Settings
- Select Network Setup
- Select Wireless Setup
- Select Scan
- Select your network from the list
- Follow the instructions that appear on the setup screen
Option 4: Connecting to an unsecured wireless network
NOTE: To connect to a wireless network, the SSID (wireless network name) will be required.
- Using the supplied remote control, press the HOME button
- Select Settings
- Select Network Setup
- Select Wireless Setup
- Select Scan
- Select your network from the list
- Follow the instructions that appear on the setup screen
