The Sony Reader screen flickers when turning a page.
The Sony® Reader screen may flicker in order to prevent ghosting or after-image even though the Refresh Display check box in the Application Preferences menu is not selected. This is normal operation.
NOTE: The screen flickers every 15 pages, usage for 10 minutes, and turning to or from a page which has an image.
