What to do if USB device cannot be recognized?
USB device cannot be recognized.
If USB device is connected with VAIO but cannot be recognized, please refer to the following steps to troubleshoot the issue.

If the above solutions do not resolve the issue, please perform a System Restore to check if the issue can be solved. Please refer to the following solutions for restoring the system. In addition, if the issue persists after performing a System Restore, there is probably a problem in the VAIO USB interface. Please bring it to the Sony Service Center for inspection. |
