Why is the device that is connected to the printer port of the port replicator not recognized?

A. If the printer is not recognized
The printer port of the port replicator (PCGA-PRV1) is actually connected to USB internally.
Depending on the printer's specifications, the window for selecting the type of cable used for connection may appear during the installation of the printer driver or the utility program.
When the window appears, specify the USB cable and continue the installation with the USB cable setup.
Use USB001 (Virtual printer port for USB) for the setting of the printer port.
At the same time, check if the latest printer driver is used.

B. If the device connected with a parallel cable is not recognized
The printer port of the port replicator is only meant for the connection of a printer.
Parallel-connection devices (scanner, Zip, PD, etc.) cannot be connected, except the printer.
