How to enable and disable the settings of Java in Internet Explorer Version 5.*?

    Enabling and disabling of the setting of Java in Internet Explorer Version 5.*.

    Please refer to the steps below:

    Note: There will be some differences in notation even in the same version.

    A. Enable the settings of Java for Internet Explorer 5.*.

    1. Right-click the Internet Explorer icon and click Properties.
    2. Click the Security tab and click Custom Level.


    3. Select the following option:
    - In Microsoft VM -> Java Permissions, select High Safety.


    - In Scripting -> Active scripting, select Enable.
    - In Scripting -> Allow paste operations via script, select Enable.
    - In Scripting -> Scripting of Java applets, select Enable.


    4. Click OK and close the dialog box.

    B. Disable the settings of Java for Internet Explorer 5.*

    1. Right-click the Internet Explorer icon and clickProperties.
    2. Click the Security tab and click the Custom Level.


    3. Select the following option:
    - In Microsoft VM -> Java Permissions, select Disable Java


    - In Scripting -> Active scripting, select Disable.
    - In Scripting -> Allow paste operations via script, select Disable.
    - In Scripting -> Scripting of Java applets, select Disable.


    4. Click OK and close the dialog box.
