What is Now on Tap in Android 6.0 or higher?

Now on Tap is an extension of the Google™ Search application. The feature searches what is displayed on screen and provides information back to you based on what it sees. Now on Tap is available in devices running Android™ version 6.0 or higher that have the Google™ app installed. The feature can display the following information:

• Web pages
• Map info, directions and phone numbers
• Images
• Calendar events

To turn on Now on Tap

1. Touch and hold the Home button.
2. Follow the instructions in your device to turn on Now on Tap.
