Why does the LED light blink when I use mobile data traffic?

You might experience that it looks like the LED light blinks when you use mobile data traffic. However, the blinking light does not come from the LED light, it comes from the proximity sensor. The proximity sensor starts blinking when the device is used in a dark environment. This works as expected.
