What is a JEITA measuring standard?
About JEITA measuring standard.
JEITA stands for Japan Electronic Information Technology Association (Ver 1.0).
JEITA measuring standard is based on the following conditions:
1. Set the performance selector switch to STAMINA
2. Cancel Prepare your VAIO
3. Screen saver: None.
4. Switch off the Wireless Functions switch of VAIO Smart Network
5. Volume control: Mute.
6. Turn off the Windows automatic updates.
7. VAIO Control Center
- Display - Automatic Brightness Settings - Uncheck Adjust brightness automatically
8. Set the desktop background according to the size of the display.
- Display 1600x900F
Set the desktop background to VAIO Long Battery Life Wallpaper 1600x900
- Display 1366x768:
Set the desktop background to VAIO Long Battery Life Wallpaper 1366x768
Common settings in Control Panel - Power Options
* Power Plan
1. Select Power saver
Go to Change plan settings - Change advanced power settings - On battery
1. [Sleep]-[Sleep after] : Never
2. [Sleep]-[Hibernate after] : Never
3. [Display]-[Dim display after] : 0
4. [Display]-[Turn off display after] : Never
5. [Battery]-[Critical battery level] : 1
Go to Change advanced power settings - VAIO Power Management - Running on batteries
6. Color quality: Select Medium (16 bit)
JEITA Measuring Method A:
* Display Brightness
Change the brightness level according to the size of the display.
- Display 1600x900F
Change the brightness level to 2 using Fn + F5 or Fn + F6 key. (Minimum is Level 0)
- Display 1366x768:
Change the brightness level to 4 using Fn + F5 or Fn + F6 key. (Minimum is Level 0)
