How to configure the computer to be discoverable by other Bluetooth devices in Windows 8.

Follow these steps to set the computer to be discoverable by other Bluetooth® technology devices.

NOTE: An integrated Bluetooth adapter is not available on all computer models.

1. Point to (but do not click) the lower-right or top-right corner of the screen, and then click to select the Search charm.
   

   NOTE: The Windows Logo + W key combination will also take you to the Search screen.

2. In the Search screen, click the Settings category, and in the Search field, type Bluetooth Settings and then press the Enter key.
3. In the Bluetooth Settings window, on the Options tab, below Discovery, click to place a check in the box next to Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer.
   
4. Click the OK button.
