Camera / Camcorder - HDMI
Before Connecting
Using HDMI connection, you can output still images/videos from a
digital still camera or camcorder to the TV during playback. During the
connection, images will be displayed on the TV and the screen on the
camera will become blank.
If the camera has Control for HDMI
function, you may be able to operate the playback functions of the
camera using the remote control supplied with the TV. This depends on
the camera and TV model.
Making a Connection and Playback
- Connect the digital still camera or camcorder using a HDMI cable. Use a cable that has a HDMI mini jack and a standard HDMI jack on either ends. Connect the HDMI mini jack to the digital still camera/camcorder and the standard HDMI jack to the TV.
- Turn on the connected camera/camcorder.
- Press the (Input) button repeatedly to select the connected digital still camera/camcorder.
- Start playback on the connected digital still camera/camcorder. Depending on the camera, the camera screen may remain blank when it displays the images on the TV.
-
If you connect a device that is compatible with "Control for HDMI," you can control it by simply using the TV's remote.
Make sure that the device is compatible with "Control for HDMI." Some devices may not be compatible with "Control for HDMI" even though they have an HDMI jack.
