Notice for Sony product owners: Regarding Termination of YouTube service availability on 2012 Sony video and audio products

Dear Valued Sony Customer,

It has been confirmed that the YouTube application on certain 2012 video and audio products (see model list below) will experience the following symptoms: Black Screen, Freezing or an Error Message and the video will stop playing. These symptoms are not due to a fault in the video and audio product. 

Due to these issues, Sony has decided to remove the YouTube icon accessible on the affected 2012 video and audio products from the 15th February 2017. The “YouTube” function will no longer be available on the affected 2012 video and audio products after 15th February 2017.
