Set up a flash with both radio and optical wireless features to optical wireless mode

Follow these steps to set up your external flash in optical wireless mode.

NOTES:

• For optical wireless communication, make sure the controller and remote are within 5 meters of each other.
• Make sure the controller and remote use the same channel for wireless communication.
• It's better to use radio wireless mode if both controller and remote have radio wireless features. Refer to the manual for model-specific instructions.

Set Up the Flash as a Controller

1. Mount the flash on your camera's multi-interface shoe.
2. Set your flash to optical wireless.
   1. Press the MENU button.
   2. Select the tab for  .

3. Set your flash in optical CTRL mode:
   1. Press the WL button.
