With no way to guarantee counterfeit AC adaptors or provide assurance that they are compatible with Sony products, consumers just should not take the risk.

Sony recommends the purchase of genuine Sony AC adaptors as using the authorised power source for your Sony products means maximising your product's potential, and guarantees your safety and enjoyment.
