How to print the date and time when transferring images from Memory Stick media.

The ability to print a date and time stamp on an image is dependent on the camera model and/or the printer being used.

IMPORTANT: For model-specific information, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the camera.

NOTE: All Sony® cameras have an internal clock which records the date and time the picture was taken and embeds the information within the image file. This embedded information is used to display the date and time when viewing an image on the camera. The DATE/TIME feature is a separate function from the internal clock of the camera.

Some camera models include a DATE/TIME feature that, when activated, will superimpose the date and time on every picture. This method of date/time stamping the images cannot easily be removed from the picture.

If the camera does not have the DATE/TIME feature, the date and time can be added manually using Photo Editor software.

For camera models that are PictBridge™ compatible, the date and time can be superimposed on the printed image. To print the date and time on the images, the camera must be connected to a PictBridge compatible printer. Refer to the operating instructions supplied with the printer for further assistance.
