Notification for connection issue of WF-1000XM3 and Apple devices using iOS13.1 - Updated on 5th Nov 2019

Thank you for your continued interest in Sony products.

Issues arising from the use of WF-1000XM3 with devices using iOS13.1 are now resolved with the latest software for iOS13.2 released on 5th Nov 2019. Software update function on the Headphones Connect app. needs iOS13.2 or later version for updating. (This function does not work with devices using iOS13.1).

Thank you for your continued interest in Sony products.

We have confirmed the following issues when using WF-1000XM3 with Apple devices using iOS13.1.

・The voice guidance language cannot be changed using the Headphones Connect app. 
・The Easy pairing function of the Headphones Connect app. doesn't work on versions of the app earlier than 6.0.1, which was released on 1st Oct 2019. We recommend that you update the Headphones Connect app to this version in order to continue using the Easy pairing function. (updated on 2nd Oct 2019)
Note: You can perform Bluetooth pairing from the device's Settings page.
・The Software update function on the Headphones Connect app. doesn’t work. 
Note: The software download has been temporarily stopped
・Google Assistant doesn't work.

These issues do not occur if you use iOS13.0, or earlier, on your Apple devices.

You can continue to use the Music playback and Sound Tuning setting functions on the Headphones Connect app. even if your device is using iOS13.1.
