Termination of Music Center on selected models of Multi-Channel AV Receivers and Wireless Speakers

Thank you for your continued interest in Sony products.

Sony is planning to release a version 5.2 update of Music Centre during early August 2017. As part of the update, the function of remote control by smartphones or tablet devices through the installed Music Center app will be disabled on selected models of Multi-Channel AV Receivers and Wireless Speakers. These functions can still be controlled on the main unit or its remote controller.

Multi-Channel integrated amplifier: STR-DN850, STR-DN1050
Wireless Speakers: ICF-CS20BT, XDR-DS21BT

※All functions which can be operated by Music Center will be controlled as follows:
STR-DN850/STR-DN1050:   On the main unit and remote controller
ICF-CS20BT / XDR-DS21BT:  On the main unit
