How to set up the working mode of power via Power Panel?

    Setting the working mode of power via Power Panel.

    Refer to the help in Power Panel for detailed information.

    Note:
    If an identical time in Stand by mode and Hibernation mode as the working mode is set, the LCD screen will go into the state of Stand by in the hibernation mode. In such a mode the system may be abnormal and the performance of operating system (CPU Usage) is close to 100%.

    How to change the working mode of power by starting Mode Editor.


    The starting method of Mode Editor varies with the version of Power Panel.

    How to start Mode Editor?


    The starting method of Mode Editor varies with the version of Power Panel.
    Please perform operations according to the operation steps of Power Panel version.


    For Power Panel Ver.2.*

    1. Right-click the Power Panel icon on task tray and then click Pop taskbar.
    2. In Power Panel, click the working mode, and then click Open.
    3. Users can edit the content of every item after Profile Manager appears.

    For Power Panel Ver.3.* Power Panel Ver.4.0

    1. Right-click the Power Panel icon on the task tray;click Edit/New.

    As for Power Panel Ver.4.0, right-click the battery icon.

    1. Start Mode Editor.
    2. Choose the mode requiring change on the left side of screen, and then perform related settings on the right side of screen.


    For the version beyond Power Panel Ver.4.1 and Power Panel Ver.5.*

    After Power Panel is started, the Power Panel icon and CPU icon will appear on notification area (task tray.)
    The displayed icon on the notification area (task tray) varies with the version in use.

    Remarks

    • For the model without CPU controlling items, Power Panel icon will appear.
    • For the model with CPU controlling items, CPU icon displaying the CPU state will appear.

    The starting method of Mode Editor varies with the version of Power Panel.
    The following icon appears in the version with CPU controlling the items.

    1. Right-click CPU icon and click Edit/New on the notification area (task tray).
    2. Start Mode Editor.
    3. After choosing the mode requiring change on the left side of the screen, it can be set on the right side of the screen.

      Besides, if users want to use Power Panel Ver.5.*,users can choose the required working mode of power in Power Mode or set up the working mode of power.
      Double click the CPU icon on notification area (task tray), and Power Panel will appear, and then click Power mode if you want to set up the working mode of power, please click Edit/New).
