How to replace the shoulder strap hooks of the camera

Before you start

What you need

• Replacement shoulder strap hooks
  Hint: You can purchase an eyelet triangle and an eyelet triangle holder respectively.

  • Eyelet triangle (metal part)
    • 
      For ILCE-7M4/ILCE-7SM3/ILCE-1/ILCE-7RM5
    • 
      For ILCE-7M3/ILCE-7RM3/ILCE-9/ILCE-7C/ILCE-7RM4/ILCE-9M2
  • Eyelet triangle holder (plastic part)
    •

• Be careful not to get injured by the metal tip.
• Please work carefully to avoid damaging your nails or fingers.

How to remove the shoulder strap hooks

1. Remove the eyelet triangle holder (plastic part):
   Push the eyelet triangle holder (plastic part) towards the camera body and slide it aside.
   

   Spread the claw-like shape that hooks onto the metal, and remove the eyelet triangle holder (plastic part).
   
   

2. Attach the eyelet triangle (metal part):
   Widen the gap in the metal cut and pass it through the hook on the camera mount.
   

   Turn it towards the other metal cut and remove the metal part.
   

How to attach the shoulder strap hooks

1. Attach the eyelet triangle (metal part):
   Widen the gap between the cuts in the metal and pass it through the hook on the camera mount.
   

   Turn the eyelet triangle (metal part) and fit it into the hook on the camera mount.
   

   Make sure that both metal parts fit into the hook and the cut side is facing down.
   

2. Attach the eyelet triangle holder (plastic part):
   Attach the eyelet triangle holder (plastic part) by pressing it against the eyelet triangle (metal part) from the top of the triangle to the bottom.
