We choose a 50% larger Exmor^TM RS for Mobile image sensor of 1/1.7 inches^*1 than it's predecessor model; Xperia 1. The pixel pitch with Dual PD and phase differences AF sensor is about 2.2 times larger than Xperia 1's. It brings higher sensitivity images and faster AF, which covers about 70% of the imaging area regardless of the scene where light is low or limited.
