Tips and Notes for the remote control included with 2019 Android TV™

Here are tips and notes regarding the remote control included with some 2019 Android TV models.

• Remote control features

Most remote controls need to be pointed at the infrared sensor of the TV because they operate through infrared communication.
However, this remote control can adjust the volume and change channels in any orientation because it uses Bluetooth communication for all operations other than turning the TV on and off.
In addition, you can continue using the remote control if Bluetooth communication is disconnected for whatever reason because it automatically switches to infrared communication.
NOTE: The  (Microphone) button only works through Bluetooth communication, so reconnection is required.

• Pairing the remote control

Setup is unnecessary because the remote control is automatically paired with the TV by the initial setup.
