Information regarding the Android TV software update (ver.6.5603)

Your Android TV software is scheduled to receive an update. The update is scheduled to begin around the end of May 2018. If the Android TV software is updated, the following features will be improved or changed.

IMPORTANT: This article only applies to specific products. Please refer to Applicable Products and Categories of This Article to check whether your TV model is applicable or not.

Dolby Vision
Dolby Vision content is supported for video streaming apps/services installed on the TV such as Amazon Prime Video and Netflix.

Voice Search in Cantonese (Only applicable for Hong Kong model)
Cantonese language is available in Voice Search.
NOTE: To use this function, you must follow the procedure below and downgrade the Google Search version after updating the TV software.

1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Speech.
4. Select Language, then set to Cantonese.

Changes of TV Menu Bar
A new item, Recent apps is added into My Apps category, making it easier to add your newly obtained or recent accessed app into the favorite apps category for easy access. In addition, Streaming channels category is removed from TV Menu Bar.
