How to reduce input lag when using the Game setting

Set Content type to Game.

1. On the remote control, press the (Quick Settings) button.
2. Select Content type.
3. Set to Game.

Notes:

• In the case of applications which prioritise lip-sync, the setting may have little or no effect.
• Games that use HDMI input will always put you in low-latency mode if you set Content type to Game.

1. For models that support the 3D surround function, turn off the 3D surround on the TV.

   Notes:
   • When you finish setting up the 3D surround function, 3D surround will be displayed on the Quick settings. If the 3D surround option is not shown in the Quick settings, skip this step.
   • When you turn 3D surround off, the sound will be heard from the TV speakers and Neckband speakers or Headphones.
   1. On the remote control, press the (Quick Settings) button.
   2. Select 3D surround.
   3. Set to Off.

2. Turn on the Game mode on the TV.

   1. On the remote control, press the (Quick Settings) button.
   2. Select Settings.
   3. Select Display & Sound → Picture → Picture mode → Game.

3. Set A/V Sync to Auto on the TV.
   Notes:  If the A/V sync option is not shown in the menu, skip this step. 

   1. On the remote control, press the (Quick Settings) button.
   2. Select Settings.
   3. Select Display & Sound → Audio output.
   4. The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
      • Select Audio system settings → A/V sync → Auto.
      • Select A/V sync → Auto.

        1. Press the  (Quick Settings) button on the remote control.
        2. Select  Settings.
      • Using the HOME button
        1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
        2. Select  Settings.
   2. The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
      • Select Display & Sound → Picture → Picture mode → Game.
      • Select Display → Picture → Picture mode → Game.

2. Set A/V Sync to Auto on your TV.

   Note:  If the A/V sync option is not shown in the menu, skip this step.

      • Select Display & Sound → Audio output → A/V sync → Auto.
      • Select Sound → A/V sync → Auto.

• For HDR video games:

  Turn off Motionflow on your Android TV.
  1. Press the ACTION MENU button on the remote control.
  2. Select Picture or Picture adjustments.
  3. Select Advanced settings.
  4. Under Motion, select Motionflow.
  5. Select Off.

• For other video games:

  Turn on the Game mode on your Android TV.
  1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
  2. Select Picture or Picture adjustments → Picture mode → Game.
