The buttons on the car stereo do not function or respond.

If you are not able to get any of the buttons on the front panel of the car stereo receiver to function or respond, follow these steps to try to resolve this issue:

1. If the car stereo has a detachable faceplate, clean the metal contacts with a cotton swab lightly dipped, not saturated, with rubbing alcohol.
   WARNING: There is a risk of personal injury. For safety, before cleaning the connectors, turn off the engine and remove the key from the ignition switch.
    
2. If the vehicle has an ACC, turn it off and on again.
3. Reset the car stereo by pressing the RESET button.

If the issue is still unresolved, service may be required.
