Troubleshooting for XA-NV400

    1. Performance

[Q]: The navigation performance is sometime unstable.
      [A]: Check the following.
      • Check that the navigation unit and the car audio unit (AV Receiver) are connected with the control cable securely.
      • Check whether the time zone is accurately set. If it is not, the navigation performance may become unstable.
      • Turn the ACC to OFF and ON again. Wait for about 15 seconds before turning the ACC to ON again.

    2. Time/Language

[Q]: The time shown on the navigation screen is incorrect.
[A]: Set the time zone properly. Check the connection and location of your GPS.
How to check the setting of the time zone
      1. Touch Menu.
      2. Select Setting.
      3. Select System.
      4. Select Time.

[Q]: The time and language shown on the navigation unit and the car audio unit (AV Receiver) are different.
[A]: The time and language do not synchronize between the navigation unit and the car audio unit (AV Receiver). Set the time and language on each unit.

[Q]: The time is not shown on the screen.
[A]: The time is not shown on the screen when the unit does not receive the GPS signals. Check the connection and location of your GPS and see whether the time is shown on the screen.

    1. Map

[Q]: I cannot move the map while the route guidance is on.
[A]: You cannot move the map since the map moves automatically while the route guidance is on.

    2. Audio

[Q]: I cannot hear the route guidance though the volume is set appropriately.
[A]: Turn the ACC to OFF and ON again. Wait for about 15 seconds before turning the ACC to ON again.

[Q]: The navigation volume is inappropriate (too loud or low).
[A]: The volume settings need to be done on both the car audio unit (AV Receiver) and the application. Set the volume appropriately on both units.

NOTE: The volume on the car audio unit (AV Receiver) can be adjusted only when the route guidance is on.
